As an educator, Oz conducts public and private Excel workshops in the Chicago area, leads classes at the University of Illinois-Chicago and Northwestern University, and is a speaker at Microsoft Ignite Chicago. He is the co-author of the book "Guerrilla Data Analysis", written together with Bill Jelen (Mr. Excel), which helps professionals overcome challenges in data analysis.
His blog, DataScopic.net, is a valuable resource addressing aspects of data literacy that often hinder people from making the most effective use of Excel and extracting what they need from their data.
Oz is regularly on the judging panel of the Microsoft Excel World Championship in Las Vegas.
Beyond his professional achievements, Oz is a U.S. Navy veteran. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Illinois-Chicago and has received education at Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
His dedication and passion for Excel have been recognized with the title Microsoft Excel MVP since 2015.
